Key Responsibilities:
  • Camera Operation & Shooting: Capture high-quality video footage for a variety of content, including YouTube videos, promotional materials, and behind-the-scenes content. Ensure proper lighting, framing, and camera settings to achieve the desired look and feel for each project.
  • Video Editing: Edit raw footage into engaging, polished videos, maintaining a strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual style.
  • Audio & Video Syncing: Sync and edit audio tracks to match video content, ensuring professional sound quality in the final product.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with producers, content creators, and other team members to bring creative ideas to life through both shooting and editing.
  • Content Optimization: Understand YouTube platform requirements (aspect ratios, resolutions, best practices) to optimize content for the platform.
  • Ensure Consistency: Maintain visual and audio consistency across all video projects, ensuring the content aligns with our brand’s style guide.
  • Post-Production: Perform color correction, sound mixing, and basic effects to enhance the final product.
  • On-Set Support: Set up cameras, lighting, and equipment for shoots, ensuring everything is ready to capture quality footage.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of previous work (including YouTube content, short films, social media, etc.).
  • Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of camera settings, lenses, lighting, and shot composition for video production.
  • Experience with audio editing and sound design, with the ability to ensure clear and professional sound quality.
  • Knowledge of color grading and post-production workflows.
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage time to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take direction and incorporate feedback.
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
  Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with different types of cameras (DSLR, mirrorless, cinema cameras, etc.).
  • Experience in audio editing and sound design.
  • Basic knowledge of color grading techniques.
  • Familiarity with lighting equipment and setups for different shooting environments.
  • Knowledge of camera stabilization equipment (e.g., gimbals, tripods).
