    Overview

    Fino Payments Bank Limited was incorporated as Fino Fintech Foundation on 23 June, 2007. The name of the Company was changed to Fino Fintech Private Limited and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated 15 December, 2015 was issued by Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra at Mumbai. Thereafter the name was changed to Fino Fintech Limited on 03 February, 2017. Pursuant to receipt of approval by RBI, the name of the Bank was changed to Fino Payments Bank Limited on 04 April, 2017. Fino PayTech Limited is the Bank's sole promoter, specialising in technology based solutions and services for financial inclusion. The Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fino PayTech Limited. The Bank is engaged in providing a wide range of financial services to the rural,poor and underserved and unserved classes. Fino Payments Bank offers a diverse range of financial products and services that are primarily digital and have a payments focus, and operates an asset light business model that principally relies on fee and commission based income generated from merchant network and strategic commercial relationships. The Bank commenced its business operations on 30 June 2017. The Company launched Cash Management Services (CMS) in FY 2020. The Company made an Initial Public Offer by issuing upto 2,08,02,305 Equity Shares and by raising funds from public aggregating to Rs 1200 Crore, comprising a Fresh Issue of 51,99,306 Equity Shares aggregating to Rs 300 Crore and an Offer for Sale of 15,602,999 Equity Shares aggregating to Rs 900 Crore in November, 2021. Resulting the IPO, the Bank became the first Payments Bank in India to list on the stock exchanges. The Bank became a Scheduled Bank effective from January 01, 2021. The Bank acquired 7.98% stake in PaySprint Private Limited in 2024. Fino Bank has applied to the Reserve Bank of India for a license to convert into a Small Finance Bank in 2024. The launch of FinoPay on iOS provided Apple users with access to 40+ secure banking services through a UPI-enabled interface in FY 2025. Through fintech collaborations, the Bank expanded its suite of investment and lending products during the year 2025. The Bank expanded the merchant network from 1 Lakh in 2019 to around 19 Lakh by end of FY 2025. Bank expanded its digital business, with a focus on enhancing UPI-based transactions.

    Fino Payments Banks rallied 8.45% to Rs 146.90 after the small finance bank's average total deposits jumped 11% to Rs 2,755 crore in June 2026 compared with Rs 2477 crore in June 2025.

    The bank opened 3,13,263 new deposit accounts in June 2026, registering a 31% year-on-year (YoY) increase from 2,39,300 accounts opened in the corresponding month last year. During the month, the bank's digitally active customer base expanded 22% YoY to 64.7 lakh customers, while active FinoPay customers climbed 38% YoY to 8.4 lakh. Loan referral disbursals witnessed robust growth, surging 253% YoY to Rs 240 crore in June 2026 compared with Rs 68 crore in June 2025.     Fino Payments Bank surges after acquiring over 2.9 lakh customers in May'26

    Fino Payments Bank jumped 5.63% to Rs 135.50 after the bank said that it has acquired 2.93 lakh customers in May 2026, which is higher by 29% as compared with the figure of 2.27 lakh recorded in May 2025.

    The average total deposits figure at the end of May 2026 was Rs 2,762 crore, up 10% YoY. The bank's loan referral disbursals increased to Rs 210 crore, reflecting a growth of nearly 2.9x as compared to May 2025. The bank continues to focus on sourcing secured loan assets for its referral business. In the transaction business, throughput dropped by 48% to Rs 2,546 crore in May 2026 from Rs 4,863 crore in May 2025. The bank stated that the moderation in throughput is primarily attributable to the overall ecosystem shift from cash to UPI and to a focus on higher-quality, more transacting merchants. For the digital payments services segment, the bank has not recorded B2B digital throughput figure in May 2026. The number was Rs 3,527 crore in May 2025. The bank said that it is reassessing key product features alongside a broader strategic risk recalibration of this segment. The bank further said that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Ezee.ai to build a lending ecosystem. Apart from technology, the bank is also strengthening its merchant network coupled with augmenting technology and resources on a steady basis.     Fino Payments Bank gains after customer base rises to Rs 1.75 crore in Q4 FY26

    Fino Payments Bank rose 2.87% to Rs 127.30 after the bank said that it has added nearly 7 lakh new accounts in Q4 FY26, taking the total customer base to 1.75 crore accounts.

    The bank's deposits reached an all-time high of Rs 2,950-plus crore in March 2026. Quarterly renewal income stood at Rs 62.2 crore, which is the highest ever for the bank. Loan referral disbursements were Rs 540'600 crore in Q4 FY26, indicating 96% growth over Q3 FY26 and 90% of the cumulative disbursements of the first three quarters combined. The company's transaction business comprising remittance, micro ATM and AePS declined 30% QoQ due to muted activity in January and February, with recovery observed in March 2026. The digital payment services declined ~25% QoQ in line with a calibrated approach toward merchant quality and risk management, with stabilization trends visible over the coming quarters. 'While select segments reflect ongoing industry transitions, the bank remains focused on strengthening core liabilities, improving the quality of business, and building scalable growth drivers aligned with its strategic roadmap. The bank will continue to progress on its SFB implementation journey, building a strong liability-first and prudent secured lending franchise with differentiated distribution strategy,' Fino Payments Bank said in a statement.     Fino Payments Bank hits the roof as FY26 referral loan disbursements near Rs 1,300 crore level

    Fino Payments Bank was locked in 10% upper circuit at Rs 122.75 after the bank announced that it is on track to record close to Rs 1,300 crore in referral loan disbursements for FY26.

    The bank stated that it is witnessing strong momentum in its referral lending business through own merchant channel. As of March 20, 2026, Q4 FY26 referral loan disbursements have already reached Rs 540 crore and are expected to close at Rs 630 crore, which would be nearly 90% of the cumulative disbursements of the first three quarters of Rs 700 crore. The payments bank said that this growth was driven by increasing rural credit demand and scaling partnerships with NBFCs, leveraging the bank's merchant-led distribution model. The current portfolio is focused on secured lending products, including home loans, gold loans, loan against property, and merchant business loans. This initiative forms part of the bank's strategic transition toward becoming a 'small finance bank', with a focus on building credit distribution capabilities while maintaining an asset-light model. The bank continues to use its merchant network to originate loans, while partner NBFCs underwrite and carry the credit risk.     Benchmarks end with marginal gains; Nifty ends above 24,200 level

    The domestic benchmark indices ended near the flat line with positive bias on Monday, as investors shrugged off concerns over the escalating US-Iran conflict and turned their attention to stock-specific action and the ongoing first-quarter earnings season. After opening lower on heightened geopolitical concerns, the market recovered through the session to end near the flat line. Nifty ended above 24,200 level. Going ahead, investors will closely monitor further developments in the US-Iran conflict, movements in crude oil prices, the ongoing Q1 earnings season, corporate business updates, and the progress of the southwest monsoon for cues on the market's near-term direction. IT, Media and consumer durables stocks advanced while FMCG, metal and pharma shares declined. As per provisional closing data, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex advanced 47.04 points or 0.06% to 77,616.40. The Nifty 50 index rose 4.10 points or 0.02% to 24,211. In the broader market, the BSE 150 MidCap Index rose 0.02% and the BSE 250 SmallCap Index rose 0.25%. The market breadth was positive. On the BSE, 2,341 shares rose and 2,061 shares fell. A total of 202 shares were unchanged. The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of the market's expectation of volatility over the near term, surged 8.38% to 13.28. In the commodities market, Brent crude for September 2026 settlement added $1.81 or 2.38% to $77.82 a barrel. Economy: India's trade deficit widened to $30.43 billion in June'26 from $19.10 billion in June'25 and $28.21 billion in May'26. India's merchandise exports climbed 15.5% to $40.41 billion in June 2026, compared with $34.98 billion in the year-ago period. Imports surged 31% year-on-year to $70.84 billion, up from $54.08 billion, resulting in a wider trade deficit. On a sequential basis, merchandise exports declined from $45.20 billion in May to $40.41 billion in June, while imports eased from $73.41 billion to $70.84 billion over the same period. IPO Update: Laser Power & Infra IPO received bids for 85.33 crore shares as against 2.55 crore shares on offer. The issue was subscribed 33.35 times. The issue opened for bidding on 09 July 2026 and it will close on 13 July 2026. The price band of the IPO is fixed between Rs 203 and 214 per share. Stocks in Spotlight: LTM (formerly LTIMindtree) rose 2.2% after it has reported a 5.86% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,468.6 crore on a 2.80% rise in revenue from operations to Rs 11,608 crore in Q1 FY27 over Q4 FY26. NMDC declined 0.92%. The company reduced the prices of Baila Lump and Baila Fines with effect from 10 July 2026. The state-owned miner cut the price of Baila Lump (65.5%, 10-40 mm) by Rs 250 per tonne to Rs 5,450 per tonne in July'26 from Rs 5,700 per tonne in June'26. It also reduced the price of Baila Fines (64%, -10 mm) by Rs 150 per tonne to Rs 4,700 per tonne from Rs 4,850 per tonne. However, U.S. President Donald Trump rejected the claim on Sunday, stating that the strategic waterway remained open to commercial shipping. In South Korea, shares of SK Hynix fell 5% after the chipmaker's stock had surged 13% during its Nasdaq debut, prompting investors to book profits. In the United States, shares on Wall Street ended higher on Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.29% to close at 52,637.01, the S&P 500 rose 0.42% to 7,575.39, and the Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.29% to finish at 26,281.61.
