Ola Electric Mobility Limited was incorporated as 'Ola Electric Mobility Private Limited' at Bengaluru, Karnataka as a private limited company dated February 3, 2017. Subsequently, the Company converted to a public limited company and the name of the Company was changed to 'Ola Electric Mobility Limited', vide a fresh certificate of incorporation dated November 17, 2023. The company is a pure EV player in India and is building vertically integrated technology and manufacturing capabilities for EVs and EV components, including cells. The company manufactures EVs and certain core EV components like battery packs, motors and vehicle frames at the Ola Futurefactory. The Company delivered 7 products nd additionally announced four new products since its first product announcement in August 2021. It commenced delivery of the first EV model, the Ola S1 Pro, in December 2021. This was followed by the delivery of the Ola S1 in September 2022, the Ola S1 Air in August 2023, the Ola S1 X+ in December 2023and the Ola S1 X (2 kWh), the Ola S1 X (3 kWh) and the Ola S1 X (4 kWh) inMay 2024. On August 15, 2023, it announced a line-up of motorcycles comprising four models, Diamondhead, Adventure, Roadster and Cruiser. The Company operate a direct-to-customer omnichannel distribution network across India, comprising 870 experience centres and 431 service centres as at March 31, 2024. The Company came up with a public issue by raising funds aggregating to Rs 6145.56 Crore issuing 808,699,624 equity shares of Rs 10 each, comprising a fresh issue of 723,757,627 equity shares amounting to Rs 5500 Crore and offer for sale of 645.56 crores by issuing 84,941,997 equity shares in August, 2024. In 2025, Company introduced the Gen 3 scooter platform. It launched Roadster X series, entering the electric motorcycle market. Company commissioned its state-of-the-art Gigafactory and commenced production of its indigenously developed Bharat Cell in 2025.

Ola Electric gains as homegrown battery technology clears BIS standards

Ola Electric Mobility rose 2.78% to Rs 43.70 after its subsidiary, Ola Cell Technologies (OCT), received Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification for its indigenously developed 46100 lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cell.
With the certification, Ola Electric said it has become the first Indian company to receive BIS approval for a domestically developed cell in the 46100 format. The company said the LFP 46100 cell has also qualified under IS 16893 Parts 2 and 3 and UN 38.3 standards, confirming compliance with prescribed electrical, mechanical, environmental, reliability and transportation safety requirements. According to Ola Electric, the battery cell has been developed with significant localisation across materials, components, engineering and manufacturing processes, strengthening its in-house battery technology capabilities. The company said the cell underwent a series of safety, performance and endurance tests at a NABL-accredited laboratory. These included thermal abuse, external short-circuit, forced discharge, impact, vibration, crush, free-fall and mechanical shock assessments. The certified LFP 46100 platform expands Ola Electric's in-house battery portfolio beyond its NMC 4680 Bharat Cell platform. The company said the cell offers an energy density of more than 170 Wh/kg and is designed for applications where safety, lifecycle and cost efficiency are critical. Ola Electric added that thousands of vehicles powered by its 4680 Bharat Cells are already operating on Indian roads, covering millions of kilometres in real-world conditions. The company said its Gigafactory and common 46-series battery architecture for both NMC and LFP chemistries are expected to support future mobility and energy storage applications while reducing dependence on imported cell technologies. Ola Electric slips as company launches QIP, sets floor price at Rs 37.74

Ola Electric Mobility fell 1.34% to Rs 39 after the electric vehicle maker announced the launch of a qualified institutions placement (QIP) to raise funds from institutional investors.
The company's Fund Raising Committee, at its meeting held on 1 June 2026, approved the opening of the issue and adopted the preliminary placement document and application form to be circulated to eligible qualified institutional buyers. The committee also approved a floor price of Rs 37.74 per equity share for the issue. The floor price is at 3.23% to the ruling market price and it is at a discount of 4.53% to the previous session's closing price of Rs 39.53. Ola Electric said it may offer a discount of up to 5% on the floor price, subject to regulatory provisions and shareholder approval obtained in November 2025. The final issue price will be determined by the company in consultation with the book-running lead managers. The company has fixed 1 June 2026 as the relevant date for determining the floor price of the QIP. The fundraising exercise follows approvals granted by the company's board in October 2025 and by shareholders through a special resolution passed in November 2025. Ola Electric Mobility dropped 4.36% to Rs 35.33 after the company reported weak Q4 FY26 performance despite improvement in gross margins, operating efficiency and cash flow.
The company posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 500 crore in Q4 FY26 compared with a net loss of Rs 870 crore in Q4 FY25 and Rs 487 crore in Q3 FY26. Revenue from operations declined 56.6% YoY and 43.6% QoQ to Rs 265 crore in the March 2026 quarter. Gross profit stood at Rs 102 crore in Q4 FY26, up 21.4% YoY and down 36.6% QoQ. Gross margin improved sharply to 38.5% from 13.7% in Q4 FY25 and 34.3% in Q3 FY26. The company said the improvement was driven by vertical integration, Gen 3 platform maturity and better pricing architecture. Adjusted operating EBITDA loss stood at Rs 326 crore in Q4 FY26 compared with a loss of Rs 323 crore in Q3 FY26 and Rs 760 crore in Q4 FY25. Operating expenses declined 50.83% to Rs 383 crore from Rs 779 crore a year ago. Deliveries during FY26 stood at 1,73,794 units, down 43.55% compared with 3,07,846 units in FY25. Q4 FY26 deliveries came in at 20,256 units. The company said Q4 FY26 was its first operating cash flow positive quarter, with consolidated cash flow from operations at Rs 91 crore against an outflow of Rs 291 crore in Q4 FY25 and Rs 523 crore in Q3 FY26. Free cash flow improved to negative Rs 131 crore from negative Rs 625 crore a year ago and negative Rs 729 crore sequentially. Ola Electric said service operations stabilised during the quarter. Average service turnaround time reduced by 88% from around nine days in October 2025 to nearly one day in March 2026. Service backlog reduced from 14 days to six days, while same-day closures improved to nearly 87%. The company said April registrations rose 20% month-on-month to 12,166 units despite the broader electric two-wheeler industry declining over 22%. Ola added that it now holds around 50% market share in the electric motorcycle segment, with bikes contributing 15% of April gross orders. Ola Electric also said installation of its Gigafactory expansion to 6 GWh is largely complete, with commercialization expected by the end of the current quarter. The company expects Q1 FY27 orders of 40,000-45,000 units and has guided for consolidated revenue of Rs 500-550 crore for the quarter. The automotive segment remained the key contributor to Ola Electric Mobility in Q4 FY26, while the cell business continued to remain in investment mode. The automotive segment reported revenue from operations of Rs 264 crore in Q4 FY26, down 56.8% YoY and 43.5% QoQ. Gross margin improved sharply to 38.3% from 13.8% in Q4 FY25 and 33.8% in Q3 FY26. Adjusted operating EBITDA loss stood at Rs 213 crore compared with a loss of Rs 167 crore in Q3 FY26 and Rs 612 crore in Q4 FY25. The automotive business generated positive cash flow from operations of Rs 213 crore in Q4 FY26 against an outflow of Rs 444 crore in Q3 FY26. Free cash flow turned positive at Rs 173 crore compared with a negative Rs 505 crore in Q3 FY26. Meanwhile, the cell segment reported revenue from operations of Rs 4 crore in Q4 FY26, unchanged YoY and down 55.6% QoQ from Rs 9 crore in Q3 FY26. The segment posted a gross loss of Rs 3 crore in Q4 FY26 compared with a gross profit of Rs 3 crore in Q4 FY25 and Rs 4 crore in Q3 FY26. Gross margin stood at negative 75% in Q4 FY26 versus 79.3% in Q4 FY25 and 42.3% in Q3 FY26. Adjusted operating EBITDA loss for the cell business stood at Rs 42 crore in Q4 FY26 compared with a loss of Rs 53 crore in Q3 FY26 and Rs 36 crore in Q4 FY25. The segment reported a net loss of Rs 82 crore during the quarter versus Rs 89 crore in Q3 FY26 and Rs 53 crore in Q4 FY25. Cash flow from operations for the cell segment stood at negative Rs 39 crore in Q4 FY26 compared with negative Rs 46 crore in Q3 FY26. Free cash flow outflow widened to Rs 221 crore from Rs 192 crore in the previous quarter as the company continued investments in its Gigafactory and battery business expansion. Mass segment deliveries dropped 51.4% YoY and 32.2% QoQ to 26,612 units. However, cells produced rose sharply to 72,418 units, up 90.2% QoQ from 38,080 units. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations stood at Rs 470 crore, declining 55.0% YoY from Rs 1,045 crore and 31.9% QoQ from Rs 690 crore. Automotive and cell sales dropped 53.1% YoY and 35.5% QoQ to Rs 433 crore. Production-linked incentive income declined 69.4% YoY, though increased 94.7% QoQ to Rs 37 crore. SG&A expenses declined 38.1% YoY and 4.4% QoQ, while other operating expenses fell 42.2% YoY but increased 5.6% QoQ. Adjusted operating EBITDA loss stood at Rs 323 crore, widening from Rs 258 crore in Q2 FY26 but improving from Rs 494 crore in Q3 FY25. Operating EBITDA margin was -68.7%, compared with -37.4% in Q2 FY26 and -47.3% a year ago. Net loss for the quarter stood at Rs 487 crore, widening from Rs 418 crore in Q2 FY26 but narrowing compared with Rs 564 crore in Q3 FY25. In the automotive segment, revenue from operations stood at Rs 467 crore, down 55.3% YoY from Rs 1,045 crore and lower by 32.1% QoQ from Rs 688 crore. Adjusted operating EBITDA loss stood at Rs 167 crore, improving significantly from a loss of Rs 373 crore in Q3 FY25 but widening from a loss of Rs 102 crore in Q2 FY26. Adjusted EBITDA margin was -35.8%, broadly in line with -35.7% YoY, but weaker than -14.8% in Q2 FY26. In the cell segment, revenue from operations stood at Rs 9 crore, up from Rs 3 crore in Q3 FY25 and Rs 4 crore in Q2 FY26, reflecting scaling up of cell operations. Automotive and cell sales dropped 53.1% YoY and 35.5% QoQ to Rs 433 crore. Production-linked incentive income declined 69.4% YoY, though increased 94.7% QoQ to Rs 37 crore. Gross profit came in at Rs 161 crore, down 17.0% YoY and 24.4% QoQ. However, gross margin improved to 34.3%, compared with 30.9% in Q2 FY26 and 18.6% in Q3 FY25. Total operating expenses stood at Rs 432 crore, down 33.9% YoY, but up 3.8% QoQ. R&D expenses rose 124.1% YoY and 8.3% QoQ to Rs 65 crore. SG&A expenses declined 38.1% YoY and 4.4% QoQ, while other operating expenses fell 42.2% YoY but increased 5.6% QoQ. Adjusted operating EBITDA loss stood at Rs 323 crore, widening from Rs 258 crore in Q2 FY26 but improving from Rs 494 crore in Q3 FY25. Operating EBITDA margin was -68.7%, compared with -37.4% in Q2 FY26 and -47.3% a year ago. Net loss for the quarter stood at Rs 487 crore, widening from Rs 418 crore in Q2 FY26 but narrowing compared with Rs 564 crore in Q3 FY25. Cash flow from operations remained negative at Rs 575 crore in Q3 FY26, compared with a negative Rs 255 crore in Q2 FY26 and negative Rs 851 crore in Q3 FY25. Free cash flow stood at negative Rs 781 crore in Q3 FY26, compared with negative Rs 405 crore in Q2 FY26 and negative Rs 1,076 crore in Q3 FY25. In the automotive segment, revenue from operations stood at Rs 467 crore, down 55.3% YoY from Rs 1,045 crore and lower by 32.1% QoQ from Rs 688 crore. Adjusted operating EBITDA loss stood at Rs 167 crore, improving significantly from a loss of Rs 373 crore in Q3 FY25 but widening from a loss of Rs 102 crore in Q2 FY26. Adjusted EBITDA margin was -35.8%, broadly in line with -35.7% YoY, but weaker than -14.8% in Q2 FY26. In the cell segment, revenue from operations stood at Rs 9 crore, up from Rs 3 crore in Q3 FY25 and Rs 4 crore in Q2 FY26, reflecting scaling up of cell operations. Adjusted operating EBITDA loss widened to Rs 39 crore, compared with losses of Rs 8 crore in Q3 FY25 and Rs 27 crore in Q2 FY26. Ola Electric Mobility fell 5.67% to Rs 33.75 after the electric vehicle maker announced a change in its top finance leadership.
In a regulatory filing, the company said Deepak Rastogi has been appointed chief financial officer with effect from 20 January 2026. He succeeds Harish Abichandani, who resigned from the post citing personal reasons, effective at the close of business on 19 January 2026. The company added that its board approved Rastogi's appointment at a meeting held on January 19. With over three decades of experience spanning finance, strategy and governance roles, Rastogi will also be designated as a key managerial personnel and will be part of Ola Electric's senior management team from January 20. OLAELEC receives BIS certification for its indigenously developed LFP 46100 cell

Ola Cell Technologies (OCT), a wholly owned subsidiary of Ola Electric, today announced that it has received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification under IS 16046 (Part 2):2018 / IEC 62133-2:2017 for its indigenously developed LFP 46100 cylindrical cell. With this achievement, Ola Electric becomes the first Indian company to receive BIS certification for an indigenously developed cell in the 46100 format, marking another significant milestone in India's journey towards advanced battery manufacturing and energy independence. In addition to BIS certification, the LFP 46100 cell has successfully qualified under IS 16893 Parts 2 and 3 and UN 38.3 standards, confirming that the cell has completed the prescribed electrical, mechanical, environmental, reliability, abuse, and transportation-safety evaluations. Developed with significant localization across materials, components, engineering, and manufacturing processes, the LFP 46100 demonstrates Ola Electric's growing ability to develop, qualify, and industrialize advanced cell technologies within India. To achieve the BIS certification, Ola Electric's 46100 LFP Cell underwent a series of stringent safety, performance, and endurance tests at a National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL)- accredited laboratory. Overall, the cells underwent multiple qualification tests, including thermal abuse, external short circuit, forced discharge, impact, altitude, abnormal charging, vibration, continuous low-rate charging, crush, free fall, and mechanical shock assessments.

Ola Electric Mobility has approved the allotment of 21,75,78,428 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each to eligible qualified institutional buyers at an issue price of Rs 35.86 per equity share (including a premium of Rs 25.86 per equity share), which takes into account a discount of 4.98% (i.e., Rs 1.88 per equity share) to the floor price of Rs 37.74 per equity share, determined in accordance with Regulation 176(1) of the SEBI ICDR Regulations, aggregating upto Rs 780.24 crore, pursuant to the Issue. Pursuant to the aforesaid allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Company has increased from Rs 44,108,298,850 comprising 4,410,829,885 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each to Rs 46,284,083,130 comprising 4,628,408,313 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each.
Ola Electric records 23% MoM growth in registrations in May 2026

Ola Electric today announced sustained growth momentum in May 2026, with registrations rising to 15,139 units, up from 12,323 units in April, according to VAHAN data. It represents a 23% MoM increase, building on the recovery momentum seen in the months of March and April 2026. According to VAHAN, industry volumes grew from approximately 148,000 units in April 2026 to around 170,000 units in May 2026, reflecting growth of about 15%. Against this backdrop, Ola Electric delivered 23% month-on-month growth, growing nearly three times faster than the industry. The third consecutive month of robust sales recovery comes on the back of a front-end retail rejig and better operational execution, as Ola's two-wheeler EV portfolio bounces back amid petrol price increases, marking a broader market shift to electric vehicles.

Ola Electric today announced the commencement of deliveries of Ola Shakti 9.1kWh, the country's first residential Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solution powered by 4680 Bharat Cells. Deliveries of the 6kW/9.1kWh configuration of Ola Shakti have begun today in Bengaluru, and will be scaled up across India in the coming months.
