CG Semi Opens First OSAT Facility in Gujarat
CG Semi Private Limited, a subsidiary of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, has launched its first Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facility in Sanand, Gujarat. The facility makes CG Semi one of India’s first full-service OSAT providers.
The G1 facility will handle chip assembly, packaging, testing, and posttest services with a peak capacity of 0.5 million units per day. It includes advanced equipment, automation systems, and labs for reliability and failure analysis.
CG Semi is investing over ₹7,600 crore to build two facilities, G1 and G2, in Gujarat. The G2 facility is expected by 2026, with both units generating over 5,000 direct and indirect jobs.
