The Indian stock market opened on a high note today, with the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50 starting positively. The Nifty50 hit a new all-time high, up by 0.25% at 23,627.10, while the Sensex jumped 200 points, marking a 0.23% increase to 77,650.48.
On Thursday, the BSE Sensex continued its upward trend for the sixth session in a row, gaining 141.34 points or 0.18%, and closing at a new record of 77,478.9. During the day, the index reached an intraday high of 77,643.09, up by 305.5 points or 0.39%.
The NSE Nifty also saw a rise, ending the session at a new record closing high. It increased by 51 points or 0.22% to settle at 23,567. Throughout the day, it climbed to an intraday high of 23,624, adding 108 points or 0.45%.
The positive opening today reflects ongoing bullish sentiment among investors, driven by consistent gains in key indices. Both Sensex and Nifty are showing robust performance, indicating strong investor confidence in the market’s current direction.
