The initial public offering (IPO) of Bajaj Housing Finance is set to open for subscription on September 9. The price band for the shares is INR 66 to 70 per share and the Lot Size is 214 shares. The IPO will be closing on September 11. Anchor investors will be able to place their bids on September 6.
The IPO aims to raise ₹6,560 crore, consisting of a fresh issue of ₹3,560 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to ₹3,000 crore by its parent company, Bajaj Finance. This public offering is being conducted to comply with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations requiring upper-layer non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) to be listed by September 2025.

The funds from the fresh issue will be used to enhance the company’s capital base and support future capital needs. Bajaj Housing Finance, a non-deposit-taking housing finance company registered with the National Housing Bank since September 2015, offers a range of mortgage products, including home loans, loans against property, and developer financing.
For FY24, the company reported a profit after tax of ₹1,731 crore, marking a 38% increase from ₹1,258 crore in FY23. Recently, Aadhar Housing Finance and India Shelter Finance also went public.
In June, Bajaj Housing Finance submitted preliminary documents for a ₹7,000-crore IPO, including fresh shares worth ₹4,000 crore and an OFS of ₹3,000 crore. The IPO has received clearance from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). The issue will be managed by BofA Securities India Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Ltd, Goldman Sachs (India) Securities Pvt Ltd, SBI Capital Markets Ltd, and JM Financial Ltd.
