Gold rate today: Domestic gold prices eased after a festive season surge, standing at Rs 79,030 as of 8:45 a.m. Prices had dipped to Rs 78,670 on Oct. 31 and have remained steady at Rs 79,030 since Nov. 1. Previously, they climbed to Rs 81,500 on Oct. 23 due to festive buying. December gold futures also fell by 0.11% to Rs 78,778. Since Diwali, the demand surge has eased, causing prices to stabilize.

Last month’s lowest rate was Rs 75,060 on Oct. 9, following July’s dip and a customs duty cut.

International gold prices were at $2,741 on Monday, with an intraday high of $2,742. Global gold remains a stable investment, especially with the upcoming U.S. elections and other supply factors influencing the market.

Silver Prices Today
Domestic silver was priced at Rs 95,760 at 8:45 a.m., with a record high of Rs 1,00,180 earlier this month. December silver futures slipped to Rs 95,460, as prices have started to cool off after peaking during the festive season.
