What are the steps to activate the device lock on a mobile?

In accordance with the latest regulatory guidelines outlined in this PDF document, it is mandatory to enhance the security of trading account access. In addition to the password, an extra layer of authentication, such as a Time-based OTP or device lock (including fingerprint, face ID, and device PIN or password), must be implemented. Adhering to these regulations, the client is required to activate the device lock feature to use the ANT app. After entering the password and PIN to log in to the ANT app, click on “Enable now” to initiate the device lock setup. This process only needs to be completed once.

To enable a device lock on a mobile, follow these steps: 

Step 1: Open the Settings menu. 

Step 2: Click on Security & LockScreen. 

Step 3: Select a device lock from the options such as Screen lock, Fingerprint, and Face lock. 

Step 4: If the fingerprint is selected, set up a pattern, PIN, or password. 

Step 5: Enter the chosen PIN, confirm it by re-entering, and tap on Next. 

Step 6: Place your finger on the sensor to register the fingerprint. 

Step 7: Tap on Done to complete the process.
