We manufacture a wide range of mission-critical and highly precision engineered gearboxes and drive systems used across diverse end-user markets (Source: F&S Report). Our legacy and reputation lie in the Bonfiglioli brand, which has a worldwide presence of nearly 70 years, and which we have established in India through more than 25 years of operations. The markets we cater to are broadly categorized into three business verticals: Industry and Automation Solutions, Off-Highway Mobility and Wind Industries, based on the end-use applications.
The global industrial power transmission market comprises gearboxes and gear motors used across diverse industries for efficient mechanical power transfer. The global industrial gearboxes market is projected to grow from US$ 8.7 billion in Calendar Year 2024 to US$ 11.5 billion by Calendar Year 2030, while the gear motors market is expected to rise from US$ 5.3 billion to US$ 7.2 billion over the same period. The global off-highway mobility solutions (drives) market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.8% between Calendar Year 2024 and Calendar Year 2030, while the global wind turbine drives market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.3% in the same period.
Our Company was originally incorporated as `Bonfiglioli Deepak Private Limited' at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, as a private limited company under the Companies Act, 1956, pursuant to a certificate of incorporation dated June 23, 1998, issued by the Registrar of Companies, Tamil Nadu at Chennai ("RoC"). Subsequently, the name of our Company was changed from `Bonfiglioli Deepak Private Limited' to `Bonfiglioli Transmissions Private Limited', pursuant to a Board resolution dated August 31, 1998, a Shareholders' resolution dated September 15, 1998, and a fresh certificate of incorporation consequent upon change of name dated September 25, 1998 issued by the RoC. The name of our Company was changed to `Bonfiglioli Transmissions Limited', pursuant to a Board resolution dated June 26, 2025, Shareholders' resolution dated September 1, 2025 and a fresh certificate of incorporation consequent upon conversion to public company dated September 16, 2025 issued by the Registrar of Companies, Central Processing Centre.
