Pricol acquires Sundaram division:
Pricol Limited has approved the acquisition of the injection moulded plastic component solutions division of Sundaram Auto Components Ltd. The division, part of TVS Motor Company, generated ₹727.33 crore in revenue for FY24. This acquisition will be conducted through a slump sale.
Pricol Precision Products Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pricol Limited, will carry out the acquisition. The deal is set to be completed by January 31, 2025, subject to satisfaction of conditions outlined in the business transfer agreement.
Additionally, Pricol Limited has approved investments of up to ₹120 crore in Pricol Precision Products and a corporate guarantee for loans up to ₹250 crore. The company will also invest up to 26% equity in PQSI Digital Private Limited, which specializes in Industry 4.0 products.
