The Ashwini Radars feature electronic scanning in both azimuth and elevation, offering a high level of surveillance. These mobile radars are designed with advanced ECCM (Electronic Counter-Countermeasures) features, ensuring effective detection and tracking of aerial targets, from fighter jets to slower moving objects, across various terrains.
With this new contract, BEL’s total order book for the current financial year has risen to ₹17,030 crore. This underscores BEL’s significant role in the defence sector, particularly in providing cutting-edge radar systems to the Indian Air Force.
