Genesys International Corporation Ltd has secured a Rs. 56 crore contract from the Directorate of Land Records and Surveys (DLRS), West Bengal. The project aims to modernize the state’s land records using advanced geospatial technology to improve land administration.
The modernization process will rely on cutting-edge technology, including precision mapping and georeferencing, to ensure greater accuracy in land records. The project will also incorporate stereo and mono imagery as input data for generating high-resolution orthorectified images and cadastral maps.
Genesys will use stereo image pairs to create 3D terrain models essential for orthorectified image generation. Mono satellite images will also support additional mapping requirements, ensuring comprehensive land records modernization in West Bengal.
