GE Power India Limited has received a purchase order worth ₹38.2 crore (excluding GST) from NTPC Limited. GE Power’s order will entail generator parts for NTPC’s Talcher site. This order will add to the company’s domestic contracts.
The contract is for providing generator parts, and it will be executed over the next 40 months. This order is the first generator parts supply contract for GE Power for NTPC and the first such order for the Talcher site.
This is a local contract and there are no group promoter or related-party transactions with respect to the contract. This deal will support GE Power’s business continuity in thermal power generation components, strengthening GE’s position in industrial equipment supplies.
