This decision follows Whirlpool Corporation’s previous sell-down of a 24.7% stake in its Indian subsidiary on February 20, 2024, for ₹4,039 crore at an average price of ₹1,280 per share. If the anticipated sell-down occurs, the company will become a minority shareholder with less than a 26% stake.
