On January 30, 2025, Tata Motors Ltd opened at ₹709.00. The stock hit an intraday low of ₹683.20, marking a 9.2% down from its previous close of ₹752.50 and intraday high of ₹709.00 . Currently the stock is trading at ₹703.10, down 6.56%, with a market cap of ₹2,58,819.89 crore.

Tata Motors share Q3 Results:

Tata Motors reported a 22% YoY decline in consolidated net profit to ₹5,451 crore in Q3FY25, missing estimates due to weaker margins and a slowdown in Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). Revenue grew 2.7% YoY to ₹1,13,575 crore, but EBITDA margins fell 60 basis points to 13.7%.  

The company’s passenger vehicle segment saw a 4.3% revenue decline to ₹12,400 crore, despite a 120 basis points rise in EBITDA. Commercial vehicle revenue fell 8.4% YoY to ₹18,400 crore. EBIT stood at ₹10,000 crore, reflecting a 60 basis points improvement, but overall financials remained under pressure.  

Tata Motors’ stock declined 9% to ₹684.25, marking a fresh 52-week low and a 40% drop in six months. Market capitalization fell to ₹2.57 lakh crore as demand concerns, particularly in China, and weak margins weighed on investor sentiment.
