The contract spans three years for construction and ten years of maintenance. It will connect 640,000 villages to high-speed internet, aligning with India’s ‘Digital India’ vision. HFCL’s role ensures enhanced internet access to 250,000 gram panchayats, reducing the digital divide.
This landmark project signifies HFCL’s commitment to boosting rural connectivity. The order comprises ₹1,244.61 crore for capital expenditure and ₹1,256.70 crore for operational expenses over ten years, reinforcing its role as a key player in India’s telecom infrastructure.
