Tilaknagar Industries Q2 Results showed a strong performance, sending the Tilaknagar Industries share price up by 16.4% to a record high of ₹339.15 on the BSE on November 5. The company, which produces Mansion House Brandy, reported a 5.8% YoY increase in net revenue, reaching ₹374.9 crore from ₹354.4 crore, despite a slight growth slowdown due to policy shifts in a key state.

Tilaknagar Industries’ EBITDA surged by 39.1%, amounting to ₹66.0 crore compared to ₹47.4 crore in the same period last year. Adjusted for subsidy income, EBITDA for Q2 FY25 stood at ₹55.6 crore, according to the earnings release. This increase underscores the company’s effective cost management and operational improvements amid changing regulations.

The company reported a substantial improvement in EBITDA margin, which rose by 422 basis points to 17.6%, up from 13.4% YoY. This rise in margins reflects Tilaknagar’s strategic focus on cost efficiency and revenue enhancement, aligning with its growth objectives in the current fiscal period.

Profit after tax (PAT), excluding exceptional items, jumped by 82.4%, reaching ₹58.2 crore, a notable increase from ₹31.9 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. The company attributed this sharp growth to operational improvements and the favourable impact of subsidy adjustments.

Tilaknagar Industries’ reported earnings per share (EPS), on a diluted basis, stood at ₹2.99 for Q2 FY25. This improved EPS highlights enhanced shareholder value driven by a robust financial performance during the quarter, further supported by strategic market adjustments.

The company’s volumes expanded by 3.1% to reach 2.94 million cases, while net sales realisation (NSR) saw a slight increase of 0.2%, amounting to ₹1,274 per case. This moderate growth in NSR showcases the company’s ability to maintain stable revenue despite external challenges.
