Upcoming IPO: The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has given final approval for the initial public offerings (IPOs) of Sanathan Textiles Ltd and Rubicon Research Ltd. Both companies aim to raise funds for growth in their respective sectors. Sanathan Textiles specialises in diverse yarn production, while Rubicon Research focuses on pharmaceutical R&D.
Sanathan Textiles: Diverse Yarn Production
Sanathan Textiles operates across various segments, including polyester, cotton, and technical textiles, making it one of the few Indian companies with such broad capabilities. The company’s three divisions manufacture polyester, cotton, and specialty yarns for industrial and technical applications, all managed under a single corporate structure. By June 30, 2024, Sanathan Textiles had developed over 2,800 active yarn varieties and managed more than 30,000 SKUs (stock-keeping units).

Sanathan Textiles IPO Details
The Sanathan Textiles IPO will issue fresh equity shares worth up to ₹500 crore, alongside an offer for sale (OFS) valued at ₹300 crore by its Promoters and Promoter Group. The funds from the fresh issue will be used for debt repayment (₹160 crore) and to support Sanathan Polycot Private Limited’s long-term working capital needs (₹215 crore). Dam Capital Advisors Ltd and ICICI Securities Ltd are the book-running lead managers, with KFin Technologies Ltd as the registrar. The shares will be listed on both the BSE and NSE.
Rubicon Research: Pharmaceutical Innovation
Rubicon Research, a key player in pharmaceutical research and development, focuses on creating innovative pharmaceutical products. The company’s IPO will include a fresh equity issuance of ₹500 crore and an OFS of ₹585 crore by its promoter, General Atlantic Singapore RR Pte Limited, which currently owns over 57% of the company.

Rubicon Research IPO Details
Rubicon plans to allocate ₹310 crore from the fresh issue towards debt repayment, with additional funds earmarked for strategic acquisitions and other corporate purposes. Axis Capital, IIFL Securities, JM Financial, and SBI Capital Markets are the book-running lead managers for Rubicon’s IPO.
