Today, the BSE Sensex and Nifty50 indices began positively on Tuesday, with the Sensex up by 200 points and the Nifty above 23,550. This optimistic opening sets a hopeful tone for the market session.

Market conditions are expected to fluctuate during the upcoming F&O expiry week, indicating that investors should prepare for potential volatility. This caution comes despite an overall positive outlook in the market.

As of 9:21 AM, the BSE Sensex was trading at 77,523.37, marking an increase of 182 points or 0.24%. Similarly, the Nifty50 stood at 23,583.15, up by 45 points or 0.19%, indicating sustained investor interest.

Monday’s trading session concluded with modest gains, recovering from an initially slow start. Notably, stocks such as Balrampur Chini Mills and PNB are under a trading ban today due to F&O restrictions, influencing trading dynamics.

Foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutions were net sellers yesterday, offloading shares worth Rs 653 crore and Rs 820 crore respectively. Meanwhile, the net long position of FIIs escalated notably from Rs 73,991 crore to over Rs 1 lakh crore.
