The reason for the email from the exchange or depository requesting the addition of a nominee to the Alice Blue account is in compliance with the SEBI circular. Clients must be given the option to choose or decline a nomination for their accounts by exchanges and depositories. Clients need not take any action, as Alice Blue has already conveyed their preferences to the exchanges, ensuring their trading account remains unaffected.
