Day Order: A DAY order is valid until the end of the trading day. This means that if the order’s status is displayed as “pending” in the Order Book and it remains as such during trading hours, it will be automatically canceled when the market closes for the day.
IOC Order: Immediate or Cancel (IOC) orders allow a trader to buy or sell a security as soon as the order is placed in the market. Orders that are not executed will be automatically canceled and removed from the system.
