To unpledge the shares, follow these steps:
Step 1. Visit BOT and log in with your credentials.
Step 2. Select the Portfolio option.
Step 3. Choose the Holdings option.
Step 4. Click on the Unpledge option located on the top left side.
Step 5. Select the Segment Equity or Mutual Fund.
Step 6. Choose the desired script and click on the Unpledge option.
Step 7. Enter the quantity and continue the procedure as prompted.

Stock Brokers can accept securities as margin from clients only by way of pledge in the depository system w.e.f. September 1, 2020. Update your mobile number & email Id with your stock broker/depository participant and receive OTP directly from the depository on your email id and/or mobile number to create a pledge.
