Colab Platforms Limited announced its entry into the drone technology sector through a nonbinding MoU with RRP Drones Innovation Private Limited, a subsidiary of RRP Group.
The partnership plans to form a Special Purpose Vehicle to develop, manufacture, and deploy AI-powered autonomous drones for border security, industrial sites, law enforcement, agriculture, and environmental protection applications in India.
Colab Platforms will expand from digital, sports, fintech, and esports into aerospace and drone technology. India’s drone market is projected to reach ₹1.95 lakh crore (~US$23B) by 2030 with government support.
