Praj Launches Precision Fermentation Lab

Praj Industries announced establishment of Advanced Precision Fermentation Lab at Praj Matrix in Pune on April 20, 2026. The facility aims to advance biotechnology and support India BioE3 vision initiative.

The lab features AI-enabled high-capacity precision fermentation and next-generation bioprocessing. It will improve efficiency reduce scale-up risks and support pharmaceuticals food cosmetics biofuels and beverage sectors applications integration and systems.

Praj signed MoU with BRIC–NCCS in presence of Department of Biotechnology Secretary Dr Rajesh S. Gokhale. Collaboration focuses on research microbial strains training internships and biomanufacturing development partnership initiative model.
