Team Lead -Algo Trading

Requirements

• Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of the Algo Trading Platform.
• Lead a support and operations team handling API/algo trading clients.
• Monitor platform performance, API connectivity, and trading-related issues.
• Ensure timely resolution of client queries and operational escalations.
• Support onboarding and management of algo/API clients.
• Track and analyze market events impacting algorithmic trading operations.
• Maintain operational SOPs, reports, and incident management processes.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on market operations and platform workflows.
• Handle exchange circular implementation, risk controls, and compliance requirements related to algo trading.

Qualifications

• Minimum Arts & Science, B.E./B.Tech required.
• Extra certifications that are relevant are beneficial.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Indian Capital Markets, especially Equity & Equity Derivatives.

• Mandatory NISM Certifications:

• NISM Series VIII – Equity Derivatives Certification

• NISM Series XIX-C – SORM (Securities Operations & Risk Management)
• Experience in Algo Trading / API Trading Platform Management preferred.
• Good understanding of OMS/RMS systems and exchange operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Preferred Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in stock broking, algo trading operations, or capital market platform management.
• Experience working with API/algo trading clients and technical teams.
• Familiarity with NSE/BSE exchange processes and compliance requirements.
