Online Account:
Once the account opening form is successfully verified, the UCC activation will be initiated in real time.

Offline Account:
2 to 3 working days, depending on document submission

Delays can happen due to document mismatch, signature issues, or incomplete KYC.

You can check your account opening status through the following ways:

If You Applied Online:

1. Log in to the broker’s account status portal (e.g., Alice Blue has: https://wp.aliceblueonline.com/accountstatus)
2. Use your registered mobile number or email/PAN to track the application

Email/SMS Updates:
1. Most brokers send real-time updates on your registered email and mobile.

Steps to Take:
1. Check Email/SMS for any alerts or rejection reasons
2. Log in to Status Tracker on broker’s website to see if any action is pending from your side

Common Issues to Resolve:

1. Missing/incomplete documents
2. Signature mismatch
3. Aadhaar not linked to mobile for OTP
4. IPV not completed

3. Resubmit Documents or Re-do KYC if required

Under normal circumstances, the client account will be activated across the Exchange, CDSL, and Back Office (BO) within 5 to 15 minutes.

Yes. Once your account is activated, you can log in and start trading. Please note that trading access may take some additional time depending on the exchange’s processing time.
